Soft-Skill Training and Management Meeting in Bremen

During the 13th to the 14th of February, consortium partner ATLAS Elektonik organized a soft-skill training course on "Successful negotiation & presentation" for all ESRs, while the Robocademy Management Board and the Scientific Advisory Board set sails for the course year 2017.

While the students were participating in the workshop, given by expert Alexander Schwarz from Akademie für Führungskräfte der Wirtschaft GmbH, the project consortium discussed the next steps for the ROBOCADEMY within 2017. Major new outcomes of the meeting were that the succesfull reading circle course by Prof. Kruusmaa will be transformed into a workshop focussed on publishing journal papers. The consortium is optimistic that with the support of Prof. Kruusmaa every ESR will be able to look back on one journal submission/publication at the end of 2017.

Another outcome of the first meeting day was the outline for the NT-6 Fluid dynamics and experimental methodology workshop, which will be given and hosted by Prof. Kruusmaa in Tallinn, Estonia between 22nd and 25th of May. The good success of the first day was celebrated with a dinner within the Unions Brewery in Walle, Bremen with the whole consortium and all ESRs.

The second day of meeting was focussed on the Robocademy fellows and the progress with their doctoral program. All in all the Robocademy Progress Board was very pleased with the outcome of the second day and it seems to be that the vast majority of the Robocademy ESRs is on track.
